Quit the jobs, sold the house, sold the car & furniture, and got rid of all our stuff. We're now living aboard and outfitting our 50-foot Gulfstar Sailmaster, NIKI WIKI, for open-ended cruising to Mexico & Central America. We're leaving San Diego October 30th 2006 with over 170 other sailboats on the "Baja HaHa Rally" sailing south to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Then...

Arrived in Chacala Bay in the afternoon after the rough trip - Winds steady at least 18knots gusting to 25 knots almost the entire 26 hour trip from Chamela to Chacala around the notorious Cabo Currientes.

leave Tenacatita and travel north to Chamela Bay. Anchor out at the islands in the south end of the bay due to large swells. Just a few hours of sleep, then out to sea and head north again.

Leave Barra de Navidad for the short hop north to Tenacatitia Bay. Drop anchor in Boca de Iguanas anchorage of Tenacatita Bay.
